Step 1: Install the Official cTrader Platform

The most important step: Install cTrader from the official website and NOT a version provided by any broker, as broker-specific versions can cause problems. Use the following link to download the latest official version:

Step 2: Create an App Password

To ensure a smooth email setup, follow this link and configure an app password for cTrader:

Step 3: Configure Email Settings in cTrader

1. Open cTrader and go to Settings > Email.

2. Use the following settings:

   • Enable Email: Yes

   • Use SSL: Yes

   • Server (SMTP): Refer to the list below for your SMTP server

   • Port: Refer to the list below for your server port

   • Use Authentication: Yes

   • Username: Your email address

   • Password: The app password you created in Step 2

• Port: 587 (or 465 for Hotmail)

• Port: 465
